Why else would you deny aid trucks from delivering aid and rescuing people?

Yesterday while helping with the relief efforts, the coordinators told us they had to have a letter from the organizations in NC they were sending the donations to. The truck drivers had to have a copy of this letter with them in the event they were stopped and questioned by government authorities. Anyone who doesn’t have this letter will have the donations seized/stolen by FEMA or some other alphabet government agency. It’s hard to believe this is the country we live in, but I have no reason not to believe these volunteer coordinators.

FEMA joins the ranks of the FBI, DOJ, and Secret Service as government agencies that have all but torched their credibility.

Their response to Hurricane Helene has been, in a word, abysmal. Why? Well, they're more concerned about DEI and 'disaster equity', for starters. But it also took them 10 days to arrive and -- in 2024 -- they're still requiring COVID-era social distancing (and IDs, which the Left told us are racist). On top of all that, DHS Secretary Mayorkas said FEMA has no more money for this hurricane season, because it's all gone to illegal immigrants. Oh, and whistleblowers have said FEMA misappropriated funds.

Those aren't our words -- they're FEMA's, and the government's, own admissions.

But FEMA is so mad about the 'conspiracy theories' surrounding them, they've launched a 'probe' to find the source of the rumors:

North Carolina National Guard Admits They 'Rotor Washed' a Hurricane Helene Relief Site​

Safety is the NCNG’s number one priority, especially with the high volume of air operations currently happening across the region. While the NCNG strives for precision in every mission, sometimes things don’t go as planned.
When that happens, the NCNG takes it very seriously and are committed to addressing and correcting any issues to prevent future occurrences.

There is much-deserved ire against the federal government and its response—or lack thereof—to the Hurricane Helene tragedy in Western North Carolina. The fact that their own state national guard made this error only adds fuel to the fire of the people's anger. The NCNG probably knew it would only be a matter of time before the discovery that it was their helicopter involved in the incident, so they got ahead of it in order to distract focus off them. This is CYA at its most disgraceful.

In my phone conversation with him on Monday, I asked United Cajun Navy's Trascher about his suspicions about who it could be, and he mentioned the state's Air National Guard. "They would answer to the governor of whatever state they came home to, and their own guard general," Trascher said.

Who is in charge of North Carolina's National Guard? None other than Democrat Governor Roy Cooper, who has been part of the glacial response by FEMA and the roadblocks experienced by other relief organizations like the United Cajun Navy and individual citizens wanting to help. Interestingly enough, on that same Sunday of the incident, Gov. Cooper decided to take to X to slam the "relentless vortex of disinformation" and "bad actors" on X for making him a target.

Meanwhile, my friends in the most affected areas of NC are still reporting that FEMA is largely absent, but where they do have people, they are focused only on actively interfering with private groups like the Cajun Navy or Gods Pit Crew.
