Female Pitt bull puppy needs home

A friend of mine just sent out this email. PM me if you are interested in this poor pup.

I know this is sort of off topic, but we’re doing everything we can to avoid taking this sweet little puppy to the Humane Society (who will transfer her to Tri-County Animal Shelter, which puts dogs down very quickly). We have a 6 week (?) old female pitt bull puppy who is adorable!!!!! She was found off Hwy 210 near a dumpster and next to her dead brother. People are so cruel! Anyway, she’s cute, slightly underweight, but doing well otherwise. She was seen by a vet who determined she was older than 4 weeks and just needs a loving home and lots of TLC. Of course, she probably hasn’t had any necessary puppy shots or initial puppy care, so she would need all of that as well. She is currently being cared for by my neighbor. If you are interested in giving this sweet girl a chance, give me a call (301-XXX-XXXX) or shoot me an email.
I have a dog crate I can donate to anyone willing to take her!​

I'm checking right now. It's at her neighbor's house because she has two adult huskies that might be aggressive with it.

OK, I added the pics. What a pretty pup! My friend isn't sure if she is a purebred considering the circumstances. Maybe someone more familiar with the breed can give their opinion.

Lets give it a day or so, I bet somebody takes her too. My friend said she is a real snuggler, loves to be held.

Does your friend know the that dogs or cats can't be adopted out til 8 weeks of age. The puppy is very pretty though.

Sorry DawnK, I just got a call from my friend. One of the ladies in our club adopted the puppy. She will have a real nice home with kids and a kitty for companionship. Thanks to those who expressed interest. I still can't believe anyone could be so vile as to abandon 2 small puppies in the freezing cold. So sad....

The more you help w/rescue, the more the blinders come off to what really goes on. People's cruelty and callousness to another living creature is unbelievable...

I was thinking the same thing. We thought Scoops was all Pit still he started growing up some. If he doesn't have Boxer in him than I'm Marry Poppins. That pup looks almost identical to him.

Off topic- Does anyone need a crate? Our neighbor just gave us three that are all in good condition. I'm taking it as a sign that more strays and or fosters are coming our way but could part with a few if there's a need for somebody.
