Fender Bender Debacle

You have to be kidding me!
A One hour backup on Southbound 235 (California)for a two car FENDER BENDER!
As they sweep some glass off the road - this is a 4 lane road and there is no reason for this to happen - it would be a different story if it were a serious accident.

Fender Bender??

Did you see it, 4 car accident with a door pop, at least 3 taken to SMH. That's a heck of a fender bender.

it didn't sound good when it came over the scanner. Hopefully all will make a speedy recovery. I also see on the baynet they also charged one person for the cause of the accident.

I have to admit, I was thinking much like the OP when we went by it around 9 - I left from Hollywood at 7:45 trying to get the kids to the dentist in California at 8:15. Kids weren't complaining about the delay... lol I figured that it must have been more serious than it looked by the time we rode by - we saw the photographer (danzig, I suppose that is you?) and another guy walking back near the wildewood light, and I didn't think that they sent the photographer out for fender benders...

Prayers and positive thoughts for all involved - hope everyone makes a speedy recovery.

Hey, simmer down a bit, OP. People were injured and I'm sure that the clean up folks who were were doing their jobs , have the safety of other drivers in mind as they sweep up the twisted metal, glass and debris so that your car and mine won't have to drive over that crap. Also, one of the vehicles involved was charged so I'm sure the police were investigating since that person got a ticket. All these things take a little, so chillax a bit. Just sayin'.

I would just like to clarify something. THe driver of the GMC Yukon was at fault and was ticketed not the GMC Sierra. The Bay Net has it wrong. I personally know the driver of the sierra.

Witnesses also say that the Yukon was driving dangerously down the road for quite sometime and that it cut across from the left lane all the way to the right all of a sudden.

This is coming for other witnesses not the driver I know.

So what exactly happened? I just saw the white truck up on the shoulder with a smashed front end, and the Yukon and car in the lanes close together all damaged.. the story doesn't really say much besides someone was charged-- and youre saying thats the wrong person right?

So, what happened? Looks like the Sierra hit something tall and poleshaped, not one of the other vehicles.

Yes the story says the wrong person was charged. From what I gather the white pickup was in the right turn lane(to get on st Andrews) and the tan suburban came across from the far left and cut multiple vehicles off. If you look at the photos the suburban is damaged on passenger side door which would make sense if he came across all three lanes at an angle. Driver of white truck said it was clear then bam suburban

Makes sense now that you explain it all! I was trying to look as I went by, but of course I had to pay attention to driving.. and thebaynet had pictures, but they didn't explain anything! thanks for the update, and i hope the person you know is okay- as well as the person in that car that was all smashed up! glad the yukon driver got ticketed!!

About 2 pm yesterday three car fender bender in front of the Wyle building again, in the left lane. Does MD have the fender bender law, get your azz off the road if you have a minor fender bender, parties agree to get off or pull to the side or something to not block traffic. At least two of the parties where out of the car on cell phones.

It's not the Wyle building anymore.
