So- last night was brilliantly fun! We left the house with a baby that was puking and running a fever of 103.6- to the ER at 2:45 am. Got home finally about 8. She has an ear infection- and a weird rash all over her body. Red spots everywhere. I was told by various people and the nurse that it is because of her fever and such. It is crazy. Poor baby. This is crap. I hate that she is like this.

They kept asking me if she has been around any other kids- but she hasnt- she saw her one little friend for a few on the 4th- but he wasnt sick- and saw some of her cousins last saturday- and none of them were sick. SO- yeah. It was fun. I dont understand what takes SO FRICKIN LONG in an ER! *shakes head*

bah... Im tired....ah well... she is a good reason to be

BadGirl

I am so very blessed
How many teefs does your bebe have, WC? My little one has two so far, and he is a SlobberMonster, so I am sure that more are soon to follow.

Good luck with Miss I. :huggy:

I didn't read through the thread-forgive me - so I might be repeating something posted by someone else, but with both of our kids we had teething rings that we could freeze (or chill). Those and cool baths seemed to do the trick with the temperature. The rest of it was up to the Navy's one-size-fits-all solution, pink liquid amoxycillin. Sorry for your struggles, and I hope things clear up quickly for you and your little one.

Our daughter had the same type of thing on her second birthday. While we were at the hospital they gave her Motrin on top of the Tylenol we had already given, and her fever came down. Since then we have used Motrin for fever because it seems to bring fevers down faster.

It turned out our daughter had Roseola. You might look that up and see if it fits her symptoms.

yeah yeah
I too am wondering if it was the Roseola. I have an appt with her ped on monday- to have a recheck- and I mentioned it- and he said that they will know monday- because the rash will not be gone by then.
