Description of Structure / Property: Single story wood framed detached garage

Owner / Occupants: James and Theresa Lee

Injuries or Deaths: An adult male resident of the home sustained minor burns and smoke inhalation. The individual was flown by Maryland State Police Trooper 7 to Baltimore Shock Trauma to treat his injuries.

Area of Origin: Exterior of the Garage

Preliminary Cause: Accidental

Additional Information: The fire was discovered by a neighbor after seeing smoke and flames. The fire spread from a pile of burning debris that became out of control due to wind. The fire did cause minor damage to the nearby home.

Description of Structure / Property: Single family dwelling

Owner / Occupants: Connie Bean

Injuries or Deaths: Two patients were transported for smoke inhalation

Preliminary Cause: Accidental

Additional Information: The fire originated in the kitchen of the dwelling and was contained to the area of origin. The son of the homeowner noted smoke from the dwelling and was able to contain the fire until firefighters arrived. The homeowner and the son were both flown to MedStar Washington for smoke inhalation.
