Though not native, a friend shared silver dollar plant seeds with me many years ago. They are lovely and self sow. If anyone wants me to save seeds, let me know

With sandy, low quality soil, I leave the leaves. They break down and amend the soil. Plus a lot of critters overwinter under them.
I was teasing. My fiancé will point out the slightest pinch of green under my "natural mulch" and tell me what it is and how to care for it. My idea of "caring" for it, is to avoid it when cutting grass or weed eating. 😆
