I'm all for thinking about Christmas in November but September 29th? :nono: I went to the Home Depot in Waldorf today for some plumbing stuff and, big as life, they were setting up Christmas trees!! :jameo:

Target had them out last week also. Right past the Halloween isle. Walmart had their stuff out when they were bringing out the school supplies. Its depressing.

They call me ... Sarcasmo
I got my first Christmas list from #1 son last week.

Bear Grylls/Gerber Machete
BB Gun
A damascus steel fixed blade knife
A fixed blade knife with a gut hook ("For skinning deers")
Patriot longbow ("It's $500.00 so I'll probably get it for Christmas.")

Yes, those are direct quotes from my little Davy Crockett. Maybe I'll just get him a coonskin cap and a Red Ryder and call it a day.

I've already bought a few Christmas presents - did this over the summer. When I see a good deal, I snag it. I do the majority of my shopping in November and the first 2 weeks of December though.

I do buy things here and there also. I bought Boy the Star Wars boxed set yesterday - $100.00. and he is a huge Rescue Me fan so I got him an autographed book from Denis Leary. The older they get the harder they are to buy for and the more they cost. He will be 16 in April. He has such a huge genre - so its so its easy to get stuff for him. Just costly. He gets condoms and a car for his bday!!!

Warehouses ship the next holiday out so quick, I'm sure stores' backrooms are just too full. Besides, a store can't sell what's not on the sales floor. I was in CVS in Great Mills the other day, and the manager had set up a hilarious display with a skeleton and Santa. They were side-by-side and Santa looked like he was going trick or treating with the skeleton. Great merchandising!

christmas out

Wallymart had christmas out last week also. I have christmas layaways already at hallmark who has had there ornaments out since aug.

I just bought some stuff from PacSun yesterday. They were having their semi annual sale where you take 50% off the already reduced prices. Got $475 worth of clothes & shoes for $150 :yahoo:

Damn, I'm gonna need to check them out for little man's clothes! That's a great deal! :yahoo:

As for Christmas shopping, I haven't even thought of starting. Need to get past Halloween first, I just ordered his Halloween costume a few days ago.
