Five Guys' prices sparks outrage after $24 receipt goes viral: 'Highway robbery'

I can attest to this. I stopped in on Sunday and ordered a little burger (no cheese or bacon), little fries and small drink. $17.25.
A controversial $24 receipt from a Five Guys restaurant has recently put social media users up in arms and is the latest sign that high inflation under the Biden administration remains a drag on everyday Americans.

An X account named Wall Street Silver published a picture of the viral receipt, which he said he took from Reddit, on Mar. 1.

"Five Guys prices are out of control," the X user wrote. "$24 for one person."

If I have to spend $25 on a burger for lunch, I'm going across the street to Red Robin so it'll come with onion rings and a beer.
I haven't been there since Grumpy and I had lunch there. That was quite a while ago. I like Five Guys burgers and fries.

I remember going here to feed 4 people. One double burger and 3 single burgers, 1 medium fries (enough for everyone), and 4 drinks was about $48-50. I'd hate to see what the cost would be now

I went to a gas/convenience store and started to buy two dried out chicken wings and a water - came to over 10 bucks.

Yeah, I left. They acted like they were cutting me a deal.

Vote better this year America...
You know - this is always good advice.

But somehow the Dembots always believe that when their elected Democrat leaders eff up - it doesn't matter if it's DC and there's like ONE Republican in the whole city - it's gonna be HIS fault.

Dems do NOT solve problems - they help themselves and assign blame.

I had a cheese-steak at Boomerang's the other day. $20.04 with tip, $25.04

Oh, and I only ever have water. Once in a blue moon, I'll have coffee.

I haven't been to RR since before the Planned Demic and the lock downs.

Same with 5 Guys, and I actually like their food.

It's been Boomerang's and Green Turtle, though occasionally, I'll go to 2 Brothers in Prince Fred. Oh, I did do Wendy's a couple of times, but today, I did a pretty good replica of their single with cheese.

I don't eat out all that much, so it's usually a bit of a shock.

I think Five Guys should charge whatever they want and consumers will either pay it or not. For under $10 I can go to the gas station and have 3pc chicken with two sides and it's enough for two meals. **** a buncha Five Guys.

Haven't been to one in about a year. Usually its a single burger for me and my wife gets a kids burger size. Order of fries and split an ice tea. $28-30.

They are the reason I'm not in Maryland.
