Nothing dramatic, just a few from today's hike. It was so nice on the back trail, only met one other couple. Still some activity at the pond, lots of red-bellied turtles and herons. Point-and-shoot, all automatic settings.

School closed Early Friday so I took the boy over to Myrtle Point

We got around the point and a big Horeshoe crab was crawling up on the beach

Great shots! Know any good place to stay up there? After the beach, I love mountains, especially with the fall leaves showing!

There are tons of places to stay. We just hit one of the chain hotels right off of 15, but there are plenty of bed and breakfasts too! We will definitely be heading that way again some time. I bet Spring would be pretty up there too!!
