I just put 2 and 2 together :dork:

I haven't put any Advantix on my mutts in a few months. Haven't seen one flea either. We have been sparying malathion around the yards (Mine and my neighbors for mosquitoes) :yay:

Be very careful with Dursban and Malathion. Both are VERY toxic chemicals and may do more harm than good to Mily and your kids. Read the warning labels and decide before you buy and use either one.

One of the best things I ever found for repelling fleas on my dogs is Brewer's Yeast. My dogs gobbled up the tablets like they are treats and it's great for their coats. For a non-toxic treatment for your yard, use Diatomaceous Earth, which is (no lie) a powder comprised of microskeletons of deceased diatoms, which are a type of algae. It kills fleas by piercing their exoskeletons with the microscopic sharp edges of the shells. You can even sprinkle it on your dog as it's that safe.

I've always heard that lime works. Spread it on your lawn (and dirt too). I put 10-40lb bags on 1/3 acre lot and our dog has no fleas or ticks. It sweetens the soil too.

Where do you get this, and how much/often did you give?
