have you ever used the little light and adhesive traps? we had a terrrible problem with fleas years ago and went to frontline and used the traps in the house instead of chemicals because I had kids crawling around. A-freakin mazing

They are back. Just when I thought they were gone. I have a dog and would love to know how to permanently get rid of the fleas. I feel so sorry for my dog. I cannot bathe him everyday and it is not time for his monthly medicine. I have no clue what to do. I am guessing they are all over my house is why they keep coming back but I have yet to see any in the carpet, blankets, beds, etc. I have washed everything, I vacuum a couple times a week....can I get some advice please.....
TIA!!!!!
Find any relieve yet?

FRONTLINE!!! From the vet. Yes it's expensive but it works and you must do it every month as long as the weather is decent. Stuff from the stores does NOT work.
After your frontline and rid your dog of it you mght need to bomb your residence.
FRONTLINE AND NOTHING ELSE. DO NOT DIP OR BUY ANY OVER THE COUNTER FLEA 'DIP' Gluck!

I use Bio Spot with great success. None of my dogs have fleas and ticks die extremely quickly as well which is important in my line of hobby. It also repels mosquitos which is really important to me (Frontline doesn't do this).

Find what works for you and stick with it. Consistency is the most important thing.

I would never use Biospot. :dead: They had a mishap several years ago, and a ton of cats died because of it.

Poor cats. Fortunately, I have dogs. :) None of my guys have had an adverse reaction and, like I said, it works great on the ticks, which is far more important to me then the fleas (which it works great on too).

Again, find what works for you. No matter what, we are putting an insecticide onto/into our dogs and some will react adversely to it. There's no helping that.

Some people also will use the drops every 3 weeks instead of 4. DON'T DO THIS! Totally not good for your critter. Follow the directions and apply appropriately. Use a natural method to help with the last week if you think it is wearing off.

There are other all natural varients that can be used but I don't know how effective they are when used by themselves.
