For the last several weeks, all along Rt 4 in PG Co, there are tons of yellow signs that just say "Vote for the Democrat" along the medians. I guess it didn't matter who that was as long as they were Democrat.

I voted for a Democrat yesterday. It's kind of an anti-incumbent thing, though. I did vote for a Libertarian, the only one on the ballot, and I held my nose and voted for the Republicans.

I can tell you one thing... the Democrats in my office sure are quiet today. I'm sure if their people had won more, they'd be a lot louder and talkative.

no for continuance in off for a couple of judges
for the change so folks in Annapolis cannot move money from the transportation fund to the general fund
... voted for none of the democrats even though there was NO challenger for most of them
... I did vote for Rushern L. Baker [he had no challenger] for PG C exec.

Congressman elect Mia Love celebrated her surprise victory in Idaho as the first black Republican woman to be elected to the House of Representatives.
But during an interview with CNN this morning, Love was quick to explain that she was not elected because of her race or gender.

“I wasn't elected because of the color of my skin. I wasn't elected because of my gender,” she said during the interview. “I was elected because of the solutions that I put at the table because I promised I would run a positive issues-oriented campaign and that's what resonated.”
