Flying Fish

I took my kids fishing yesterday (Sunday) at the Test Pilot School and caught what I swear was a little flying fish. It had great big wings and everything! Has anybody heard of these fish being caught in the Bay?

My guess is you caught a sea robbin. Usually about 3 or 4 inches long and pretty colorful.

I just looked up sea robin on the web and saw a picture--that's exactly what we caught! It had spines on its back and what looked like legs undeneath. Thanks!
