Anyone recently been to the Baltimore location? Care to offer up an opinion of their experience
In my view, FOGO is more show than go. To me, once you get over the 'wow!' all those different meats, I really only enjoy a few of them and the salad bar, same thing, there is SOOOOO much, I really can't enjoy it all that much. If you have a HUGE appetite, I suppose that makes it more better.
I'd rather persue a menu, ask the waiter what they do really well, a great special, whatever, have a really good main course with a couple of great sides, a good salad, good beer or a nice wine and a good dessert than be bombarded by Fogo de WOW. I've never left there, three visits, anywhere near as impressed as the first time I went in.
To me, it's a place you go once to say you've been there then, bleh.
