That blogger has tons of photos on his site detailing the San Fran nutcases at all the different marches and events. You don't even want to see the Boobs not Bombs crowd! While this kind of event is not exactly my cup of tea, this was a closed off area in the heart of The Gay Capital Of The World. Doubt many of the participants would have tried the same stuff in say, a Burger King in downtown Pittsburgh, at least without expectation of possible arrest.

What I would like to know is who footed the bill for the police? Did the city make the event's sponsors/ planners open their wallets or was this all on the taxpayers dime?

In the context of that festival, dropping and blowing strangers was probably a fetish turn on for some people. It was a BSDM Leather Fetish Festival.

As for randomly blowing strangers, no... but picking a guy up in a bar and going back to his place, or having a first date and having oral sex... these things are the norm in the gay male community and if you don't do it you're likely to not get a second date.

At least in the gay community I know, and I know considerably more than several gay men.
