Nothing to see here
Okay, here is what we have, 4 divisions of 8 people. People were put in their division based on how they did last year, or in the case of new people, by alphabetical order. The person in the first position may rename their division if they want.

All games are worth a point EXCEPT for one game that is worth 5 points (Pick of the Week). I'll post the spread out of the USA Today on Wednesdays.(except for this week) Pick every game against the spread by midnight Friday OR if there is a Thursday game, by 8PM Thursday. If you don't pick by the deadline, you just get the favorite in every game(or home team if line is 0), and your pick of the week is the Monday night favorite(last game if 2 Mon. night games). All "no lines" are 0 I'll post everyones picks prior to gametime. Post your picks in the weeks’ thread, do not PM them. If you post your picks and make an change/edit before the weeks deadline, tell me because a lot of times I enter your picks into a spreadsheet as soon as I see them posted.
Top 2 in each division go to playoffs, seeded by record..ie #1 record plays #8. In the case of ties for seeding, whoever had the better record in week 1 gets the spot, or if still tied, week 2..and so on. The playoffs will be a little different . You will use the spread plus over/unders, plus you will pick according to you think is the best pick, 2nd best pick., etc..Example –
4 games – 8 picks (4 games with the spread, 4 by over/under)
You will pick an 8 point game(the game you feel is your lock of the week), then a 7 point game, 6 and down to a 1 point. Ties will be broken by results of week 1, as explained in the above paragraph. I can’t think of another way to break ties in the playoffs, if someone has a more logical tiebreaker, say so.
The final 2 will face each other in the Conference finals and I’ll come up with something that expands the points system..Suggestions are welcome.
If you are unclear, do a search on the sports threads on ‘football pool’ and look at previous years’ threads, or just ask on the board, someone will explain. I will make mistakes, just point them out. If there are any disputes, they will be settled by a discussion/vote of the folks that were in the pool last year.
Opening weeks line, done early this week only.........Home team is on the left.

Saints -3.5 Buccs
Eagles -7 Rams
Dolphins 3 Jets
Patriots -16.5 Chiefs
