It was the boyfriend.
She was on her way to work.

Years ago, 1997 actually, I was on my way to work at 18th and K Street, just a few blocks away on H Street I believe, and about 20 cars in front of me, a man walked up and shot his girlfriend, point blank, in the head. It was the most horrifying nightmare of traffic back ups and people in a panic, I have ever seen. Plus, while everyone was trying to back up and get out of the way, I had a fricken bread truck smash my front end, into the window.

You just never know. Life is so short, so unpredictable.

Sick world and sick people.

Police Say Suspect Was Victim's Boyfriend<o></o>

PALMER PARK, Md. -- An arrest warrant's been issued for the man suspected of shooting and killing a woman Tuesday on a highway ramp in Prince George's County. <o></o>
The warrant charges James Pierce with first-degree murder. Police say Pierce was the boyfriend of the victim, and thathe is armed and dangerous.

</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>Towana Lee Folk, 48, was found slumped over the wheel of her Nissan Altima Tuesday afternoon on the ramp from Old Crain Highway to Route 4 in Upper Marlboro. She had been shot several times. Police believe Folk was on her way to work at the hospital at Andrews Air Force Base when she was shot.
