whats wrong with the Sub ?

you could put historic tags on the 55 for a yr ..........

The Suburban came out of PA. Body mounts are gone.... not the bushings but the metal around them. I paid $500 for the truck 3/4 ton 4x4 with 75,000 miles on it. Runs great I am just scared to tow anything heavy with it. I will probably pull the motor and trans, sell the seats then junk the truck. It was def worth the $500 I paid for it.

I could do historic or classic tags on the 55. It's really not a car I want to keep though. I bought it because it was such a good price, figured it would be neat to have a 55. I'd rather have a chevelle, impala, charger, challenger, gto, something along those lines.

yeah I think the Blazer is out of my price range ........ :shrug: being unemployed for a yr I am a bit cash poor ....... i guess that counts double for the Sub, not sure what I could Offer of Value ....... since you only paid $ 500 for it ........

I got a 67 Jeepster Commando in need of Resto or one could make a woods truck out of it ........ 225 Buick V6 and a 3spd tranny alot of folks drop in a 4.3 and a 700R4 - bolst right up to the Dana 20? with an Adap. of it you like a stick an SM 465 or 420 goes in fairly easy as well .........


Sorry to hear about your loss of a 4wheeling place, it is getting tougher and tougher to find anywhere to wheel with out driving 4+ hrs or joining a club and having to deal with the politics ..........
