i have two food aggressive dogs?
How do you deal with it?
Would you pay for one knowing that it is food aggressive?
That's one of the first things I did when I got my dog.
I sat next to her, pet her, put my hand around her face, etc. while she was eating to get her used to it.
out of the 6 dogs i have.... all but two are fed in their crates...
problem solved! and less when feeding
depends.... can someone prove to me that they have just had the shots done, and blah.. blah...blah...
but if they are just asking money to try to make back their money that they have put in the dog over the years... NO EFFING WAY... and that would be for any PET....
I dont want to pay for the food you got the dog, toys, bedding ...and i dont think others should pay the adoption fee you paid YEARS ago.
I feel if you really need to get your dog a new home.... you shouldnt ask money for them...
if you have adopted the dog from like smawl...then you need to contact them back due to a contract you signed. They may try to work with you till they find a home or foster.
I can take and do that with ALL OF MY DOGS.... its not me who they are aggressive towards... its the other dogs..
damyn hounds!!!!
Xena doesn;t have a brother or sister....yet, but when she visits my parent's dogs, they don't seem to have an issue.....other than her being a pig and eating up all the other food if they even step away form their bowl for a split second.
Especially pits. So many die daily in shelters each day, it makes me sick when backyard breeders try selling them. I always tell people to rescue.
As a matter of fact, my MIL came to me the other day and said "I want a dog, find me a pit puppy".
Took me by surprise considering she really didn't like Xena when they first met, but now she rants and raves about how smart of a dog she is.
coming from someone who has only owned retrievers, that's saying something.
There are quite a few people advertising non-registered pit pups now. I happened to know one of these "breeders" and it discussed me. She's had 2 litters in the past few months. $200 per pup. Her house smells like pure piss.

You should take her to a shelter. Probably won't do much, as those people tend to only see $$$ signs.
so true.. and bad backyard breeders ususally charge money EVEN if they have not done any vetting to the dog...
or they "claim" they gave the pups their shots.... or dewormed it...
sad thing is.. they dont know what they are deworming... not all dewormers are created equal...
some only hit of the worms....
sigh....
we should ban them as well...
This chick buys her shots from the amish and does the shots herself. I've heard of a few people in St. Mary's doing the same thing.
