That photo of Northwestern high school looks like it was taken right about the time I was in school, based on the cars visible.

Many of those places didn’t look any different when I was growing up than they do from the pictures in the 50s.

Next to Weilies Ice Cream in Langley Park was a Chinese Restaurant, "Lang-Lin". About once every 3 months, we'd hit both.
Crazy Horse BBQ was on Riggs Road, and believe it or not, the street car trolly came from NE DC to Berwyn by Jonson's Garage.

Crazy horse was one of my favorite places. Literally a five minute walk from my house.
