My only Ford to date has been a '62 Falcon...

In the market for a used vehicle and am considering the Ford Flex. Anyone own one? Looking for feedback.

It was too big and boxy for me. I went with the Edge and love it!

I do like the big and boxiness of it. As I often carry a lot of weight (large bags of dog food & kitty litter) and bulky items like store display pieces, I need more room than a smaller SUV. I am also looking for a comfortable ride since I am used to driving a Cadillac! I know I am asking for a lot!

One of my customers is a car salesman for Ford and I spoke to him for awhile yesterday about both the Flex and the Edge. I will go test drive a few before I decide if I want a Ford.

my main sell on a mini van was the stow and go seating.....

so i wonder how well does the back seat laydown in the flex?

I know a bunch of people that own them. I've driven one a couple times too. LOVE them. If I could afford one, I'd buy it. :nomoney:

I doubt it has the head room that a regular van does.

no it doesnt ... thats the only reason for the van... and looking for stow and go seating...

but crates will still fit in the back.... it was the issue with how/if the backseat folded down.

Went and test drove 2 Flex's today. The 2013 AWD w/ high trim package was nice nice nice but almost $50K! The lower end one was not nearly as appealing (!) I like the boxiness of it; that it is much like a large station wagon. My husband does not like it at all.
I also test drove a 2011 GMC Terrain fully loaded; with less than 5K miles on it. It was sweet! Leaning towards it. Any one have one? Feedback?
