Male (not neutered) Boxer found in Shannon Run in Mechanicsville. Dog had collar with tag that states the dog's name but no phone number or address on tag. PM if your dog. You will need to ID dog to prove it is yours.
You are going to die. I am going to send you his pic.
We have him on the leash in our family room. Hubby playing poker on computer holding onto pup. We are not sure if the pup will take a wizz or plop a schdoobie on the floor. I cannot put him outside because he will get wet and probably get scared.
I was hoping someone would be looking for him and I would have the pleasure of turning him over to a happy owner. His one dew claw is almost the length of an uncooked piece of macaroni. The lady who initially had him in her garage said he has been running loose all day. I will be posting signs tomorrow and I already posted on the "Lost Animals" section. He has a brand new snazzy collar on and his name tag has been recently engraved.
Wonder if he's chipped?
Good idea. I wonder if Companion Pet Care in Mechanicsville can scan him for me? Do all vets have a scanner?
The ones I know do. I'd call Tri County in the morning and see if anyone has turned in a lost report...what about the Sheriff's Dept? Do they take lost reports?
Thank you. I always look at the threads about found dogs and for some reason I am having a brain cramp when it comes to what to do with this dog. I will call Tri-County and the vet tomorrow. I will also ask Companion Care and Tidewater Vet if I can post signs there as well. Thanks Catt.
He is also good with kids.
Pic you sent is blurry, but we can see his colors.
Is he a nice to your other dogs?
I am keeping him away from my dogs. I am not sure if he would like them. They are old and I do not want to freak them out.
I have contacted Tri County to let them know I found the dog. I notified Tidewater Vet, Companion Care Vet and Animal Control to see if they have a missing dog report for him. I am taking him to Tidewater Vet at 3 pm for a chip scan. I will put up flyers when I get home from work.
Scan at Tidewater Vet revealed no microchip.
