OMG EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I found the Boxer's owner!!!!!!!!!!! The family is on their way here. They live in Waldorf and have been searching for him since June 3. We think someone picked him up with the intention on keeping him and then he got away and my husband and I found him. I will post an update as soon as they get here. They were crying......yeah I admit I was too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thats good news, glad he is going home.:yay:

Ok...here is the story: Wife in National Guard, husband in the Navy, 6 year old daughter. They were on vacation and had a girl come to the house to let "Max" out. Their back door does not latch properly and it popped open and he ran away. Sitter did not realize it until the next am when she came to let Max out and the door was wide open (all night long). That was on May 30. On June 3 he was last seen in the vicinity of the Waldorf bowling alley. They posted a lost ad on Charles County Animal Control's website (which is the one I found). They gave up hope of finding him. She did not think it was her dog when I called her because I live in St. Marys. She saw my ad and contacted my husband to find out where we lived. She sent me pics which confirmed it was Max. Max is missing his front bottom teeth, which I did not tell anyone. She told me he was missing his teeth. When the family came to pick Max up just now, he did the boxer squiggle like they do. They are moving to Rockport, MS on July 1st. The house they will be living in will have a fenced yard (which they chose with Max in mind). Someone found Max and decided to keep him instead of trying to find his owners. That is why he had a new collar and tag on with the name "Ares". Luckily, he ran from them and we found him because now he is with his rightful family. Before they left, I told them they should consider having him neutered, microchipped, and have his name/address put on his tag.
The end:dance: Gotta love a happy ending.

Sure!

I hope millertc and hubby don't over react and just give him away.

I swear it was their dog. He was missing his bottom teeth, he had two deformed nipples (sorry for TMI), he had a little white odd shaped blaze on the back of his neck. It was him....as much as my husband did not want it to be him (he wanted to keep him). It was him
