i tried but when a dog starts screaming in pain and the blockage is hard as a rock and jagged from bones and rocks i didn't want to do it with out sedation. the vet was digging it out for 45 min. not including time to knock her out.

i was at the vet for a total of 4 hours. 3 meds and an i/d diet to boot. poor thing is sooo much happier now.

i just wish more people out there would have some compasion for the poor animals. there are two kinds of people in the world. those who take care of animals like they are their children and then those that think its ok to chain it up outside and never take it to the vet. "its a dog, why does it need shots?" makes me sick

its ok. thats the way i see it. if it was my dog and someone took it to the vet to help her out i would be forever in their debt. do unto others as you would have them do unto you.....but for a dog. haha

Actually...I just looked at them really closely...the "lost" dog appears to have more of a "mask" just across the eyes where the "found" dog has a larger black area around the eyes.

dog is a male...

And found dog is a 6 month old female

May look alike, but not same dog.
