Aren't they cute? My daughter screams when she sees frogs. She's terrified of them. Of course my dark side has considered putting one on her in the morning to wake her up.

Use to have them living behind my shutters, they would come out at night and get the bugs coming to the porch light, pretty awesome!

Now is it just me, or are these types, wth the "sucker" feet, more common than say 5 or more years ago. I dont really recall seeing that many, maybe one a year, but now, these green ones, and at my place anyway, the more commonly seen brown ones, are a common sight.

Darwin was right
I think they either turn white or some of them are naturally white. I find white ones stuck to the glass next to my front door and we don't have a pool. They're still cute no matter what color they are.

My Sweetest Boy
When our kids were little, we'd stick them on us while we were in the pool. :biggrin: I'm not fond of toads and the big slimey frogs but the little tree frogs are so cute!

That is a White’s Tree Frog – also called a Dumpy Frog (or just the Smiling Frog). They can get really noisy.
