FOUND: White Dove or White Homing Pigeon

We have had a white dove or white homing pigeon hanging around our home for a few days. Is anyone here missing one or know who may have lost their bird? Mechanicsville Area

Not sure but I appreciate your response. The one that was here had red eyes. It actually left yesterday. We hope it made its way home. Probably knew bad weather was coming....

We had six white doves around our neighborhood a year or so ago. Found out the guy across the street had purchased them to train his hunting dog. The dog wasn't interested so the guy just set them free. They hung around the neighborhood for a long time. They eventually sold the house and moved away, and the folks that bought the house started killing the doves off because they kept going into the garage and pooping on everything.

There was one hanging out at 1936 on Saturday I guess it got drunk and left or went to Traders to eat.

Did the bird finally leave or is it still around? We have a few Pigeons at our animal rescue, one of which was found in VA.
