The weakest argument against interacial relationships-a black lady complaining about black men dating white ladies-means less good men for her to date.
I am sorry but this is silly.How can you help who you fall in love with?.Do I complain when white men go out with Asian ladies.I am tired of this.
I do not mean to offend but I know plenty of black men who will only date black women.

I am writing this hastily as it just came on T.V.

It was just the fact it was used as an argument against interacial relationships.Also just because someone dates one race does not mean they are not attracted or will fall in love with another race.

As I have said before.Just lovely to see a day where there will be no mention of skin color and race.Maybe I am guilty starting the thread but it just got me annoyed watching the show.

Neither did the woman on TV. If I was single, I'd be upset too, because that would be fewer good women for me to date.

In fact, if I'm ever single again, I don't want men of any race to date any women of any race. I want them all for myself.

Less good men for her to date, meaning only black men are "good" men? This woman needs to take some self improvement classes or something because it's probably that they just don't want to date her :pete:

I'm in an interacial relationship and to me, this is a non-issue. If you don't like what you see, don't look.

I'm assuming that "less good men" implies that *she* is only willing to date black men, since all the others aren't as good?

It's a dumb argument, I agree. I could just as easily say I don't like it when I see ANYONE dating an attractive woman, because that leaves one less for me to date. I could go further, as someone else here suggested and object to anyone dating ANY woman, since I want all of them for myself, and that shrinks the available pool by one.

But I think this line of reasoning betrays the underlying prejudice that is there, because on the flip side, people think it's bigoted for a white man to object to a black man dating a white woman for the very same reason.

Sorry.Sometimes I write with emotion and forget about punctuation and layout. I will try.

I agree with what you have to say. Some people do play the 'race card 'too much to put blame when things do not go right in life.

I am talking 2008 of course we can not forget the terrible history but if there is to be ever a time when race is not an issue then it does not help when people who complain the most about racism against them enflame it themselves.

Example when out with my black husband.Sour looks and tssks from a few black ladies.
Of course I have many black lady friends so I am not saying all.I really hope I am not offending or acting prejudiced myself.

A relation of my husband told me they had never stepped into a white persons home before and made me feel quite uncomfortable about being white.
Just as I have had bad feeling from white people. So It is up to us ALL to stop this.

INCLUDING GOING ON TELLY WITH SILLY ARGUMENTS.
