Apparently, it's not too obvious, because I didn't know about it. :lmao:

Good on you for finding someone who treats you well and loves you for being....well, you! :yay:

I just keep forgetting.....

When I first met him I thought he was Samoan or Thai, something exotic :lmao:

Sorry.Sometimes I write with emotion and forget about punctuation and layout. I will try.

I agree with what you have to say. Some people do play the 'race card 'too much to put blame when things do not go right in life.

I am talking 2008 of course we can not forget the terrible history but if there is to be ever a time when race is not an issue then it does not help when people who complain the most about racism against them enflame it themselves.

Example when out with my black husband.Sour looks and tssks from a few black ladies.
Of course I have many black lady friends so I am not saying all.I really hope I am not offending or acting prejudiced myself.

A relation of my husband told me they had never stepped into a white persons home before and made me feel quite uncomfortable about being white.
Just as I have had bad feeling from white people. So It is up to us ALL to stop this.

INCLUDING GOING ON TELLY WITH SILLY ARGUMENTS.

From what I have been told, this is the group that gives the white woman (dating a black man) more crap than anything else... I might be wrong, but that is what I hear from my friends in this scenario.

The weakest argument against interacial relationships-a black lady complaining about black men dating white ladies-means less good men for her to date.
I am sorry but this is silly. How can you help who you fall in love with?.Do I complain when white men go out with Asian ladies.I am tired of this.
I do not mean to offend but I know plenty of black men who will only date black women.

I am writing this hastily as it just came on T.V.

Why wont she date a white man?! huh?! GOD i hate reverse discrimination. Because if I (a little white girl) would have said i dont like black women dating white men because that takes away from my selection of men, i would have been stomped on, in fact it would have been a controversy. i mean come on. She really is being racist because she basicly saying that she wont date anyone that isnt black like her, therefore saying "black" is a superior race.

Less good men for her to date, meaning only black men are "good" men? This woman needs to take some self improvement classes or something because it's probably that they just don't want to date her :pete:

I'm in an interacial relationship and to me, this is a non-issue. If you don't like what you see, don't look.

It's hard to highlight some of your quotes frozenrain, why don't you put a space in between your sentences? Honest question, I'm not being a smart@$$ I promise :huggy:

interacial as in??

What?! Discrimination is discrimination, period.

I'm "white" and he's "black" if you want me to label the "interacial" relationship I'm in. I'm not one for labeling "what I am" and "what he is" (wow, I'm using lots of "quotes") but basically my dad's family is mostly mexican-american, mom's side is mostly irish-american, his family's italian-american and african/black-american...whatever you want to call it. Like how I used "American" :yay:

Okay maybe i said that wrong.

I hate when people assume just because you are one color, you are racist.

Or people that are more careful around a certain race because of the reason above, because they think people with judge them and think they are racist because of their own skin color.

Ive seen these thinks happen alot, and frankly im tired of the race issue. You can look at any race and find both ignorant supid people and really smart people with common sence and morals.

My honey is black, irish and native american. i dont see color.

By the way, it sounds like you two would make a really pretty baby together.

There's so much that could be said about 'race' and 'color' but it's just like :deadhorse: and I'm not going to feed into it.

Aww, thanks about the :baby: comment...I happen to agree

I'm assuming that "less good men" implies that *she* is only willing to date black men, since all the others aren't as good?

It's a dumb argument, I agree. I could just as easily say I don't like it when I see ANYONE dating an attractive woman, because that leaves one less for me to date. I could go further, as someone else here suggested and object to anyone dating ANY woman, since I want all of them for myself, and that shrinks the available pool by one.

But I think this line of reasoning betrays the underlying prejudice that is there, because on the flip side, people think it's bigoted for a white man to object to a black man dating a white woman for the very same reason.

She is trying to say that the "good" black men go for white women. Weak argument and stupid. She is giving black men a bad name. I'm in an interacial relationship too. He dated all races, but most of the time, when he was interested in some black girls they would tell him he was too nice, wasn't thug enough, etc.

People are just people, and everyone needs to get over it. Go out there and find someone. It doesn't matter what race they are.

Just saw this.

You must have paid attention to my blabbering.

Gold star for you.

:buddies:

For what it's worth. I've only dated 'white' women since I've been here. My wife is Caucasian/Portuguese so I guess I'm in an interracial-relationship as well.

How funny. Never really noticed/thought about it!

:lmao:
