I have an ad in the classifieds for a chihuahua (who looks rat terrier). He's neutered, approximately 15 lbs, lots of energy, needs attention. He's a sweet boy and will cuddle, but he doesn't really like to be held. He's used to dogs and teens, not so much little kids but he does tolerate them. Crate trained, leash trained.

I just spoke to a lady who works in the building and she has a 4lb chihuahua - they sure do vary in size.

If I recall correctly, Chasey's chihuahua plays well with guinea pigs and homeless cats. You should take him in.

The guinea pigs will be leaving soon, if not to a new home, then back to the original rescuer.
