If that's the case I may be late or try to get there early.:shrug: Its weather dependent for me 
Cricket, you called this right - if you are nervous in storms - it's a good darn thing you stayed home! 
We had a heck of a couple or three downpours while we were there.
It was so nice to see BelvaK and G, Vince, Slotpuppy & his Mrs.(and me & FH, too) and very nice to have B23hqb and his gorgeous & very personable daughter join us. He drove all the way from Tampa to be there.
Love night before the storms, great food & even better company!

I second the "it was great to meet B23hqb and his lovely daughter!" Had a great time, as usual! It would have been sort of neat to take a trip to OZ though...

We left our boat at home!!! Besides, there were tomatoes to be chased!
No, no we do not. Not normally. However, we basically meet on the way home from work and stay 2-3 hrs. so that's a long time. Sometimes, we're out until 9!

Sorry we missed it.
with the rain and such up here it took PanLady forever to get home, so it would have been too late by the time we did get there.
as it was, we would have hit a backup on Solomons Island rd due to an accident that would have really held us up.
Would have like to see the tornados though, best Ive seen is a water spout off the coast of Puerto Rico while we were dining at one of their best waterfront places.. McDonalds.

Are you nuts?! I have seen both and I was way too up close and personal on both occasions!
More than one tornado in Portales N.M. and a water spout about a quarter mile off my boat in the Keys. I do not ever want to see either again. Looked cool…but those are some scary sights, especially when they are heading directly towards you.

I was on a Navy ship that went straight through a hurricane, in one side, through the eye and back out the other.
It was one of the coolest things ever, would do it again (on the same size boat) without a second thought.
