Good to meet you too mamatutu. and yes, for some reason, from your forum name,,,, I expected a "larger" sized woman draped in a moo moo.. I was surprised. :killingme

Again Happy Birthday to my oldest Maryland Friend.
Cup cakes were incredible, company was great.
Deck was hot.

:killingme: Screen names can be deceiving...until you meet in person; imagination runs wild. So enjoyed tonight! Take care. mamatutu in a mumu:lol::buddies:

I'm so glad it went so well! I fell asleep here at sevenish and just woke up a little bit ago. Fixing pizza. Very sorry I missed out.

You and Ms. Pan did a good job with your daughter. She seems to really have her head on good. And a veracious appetite! What was it, 5 cupcakes? And she only managed to get crab in my eye once while violently slamming that mallet.

If you are so honored, why then did you crawl under the table when Bann and I got drunk and started our table top dance routine?

Yes, so embarrassing! I didn't know what to do being my first time and all...I tried to hide you guys under my mumu! :roflmao:

skillet claims 2 cupcakes, and apologizes for the chunks of crab shell in your eye. She hopes you can see again soon.

These events just keep getting better. We had a great turnout tonight. Nice to meet you Mamatutu & hubby. Great food and what a view! Thank you all for your company again and Skillet Girl...you rock! It's soo refreshing to talk to such a great young person like you! Good job Bcp & Pan Lady :buddies:

:yay: I have to say thank you to some of the original attendees of the first "Friday Nighters" for the company of old friendships and for the new friendships we've made over the past 6 months.

Vrai, Vince, Foxhound, PysOps, Bcp, & Italian Scallion: You all have been such a lifeline of support to me while I became caretaker for my mom these last six months - the timing of which just happened to coincide with the beginning of the Friday Nighters. I don't know what I would have done without you all - especially, PsyOps & I-S, both of whom helped care for their own elderly terminally ill parents. You both gave me great insight to the experiences I had, by sharing your own experiences. Last night's gathering was dedicated to my mom, as I lost her last week. I will love all of y'all forever. :huggy:

Happy (surprise!) Birthday, FH! No skipping birthdays in our group!! Vrai - the cupcakes were awesome! :yahoo:

And I agree with IS - we love ya, Skillet Girl!! You're so cute! (and brains, too!) :cheekpinch:

Real sorry to hear this but she's in a better place. I know some here hate hearing that but when you are a care giver to somebody so sick & suffering, you know it is true. From my own personal experience, I don't know what I would have done this past year without those with more experience in daily care giving offering me counsel, advice and support –good and bad - glad you had that as well.

Thanks for the really kind words Bann. I think we all, in one way or another, get our turn. I always thought it was strange life deals these really cruel cards; how our parents took care of us all those years, seeming to train us on how to eventually take care of them. So many things they couldn't possibly prepare us for. It's a curse and a blessing. And I get no happiness in saying that we take solace in others that share our pain.

You have been through a lot, you do a lot. I’ve told you this before that with all that you face daily and have faced, you are a REAL hero. You’re a giver. Through it all you stay level and keep a great sense of humor. I am truly grateful to be your friend.

I'm soo glad we were able to be there for you. I truly believe we go through rough times in life not only to help us grow and learn but to be able to help others when they go through them.

And yes Psy; I had the seat with the view: 2 pretty blondes, the sunset and the water. Why do you think I stayed at my end of the table most of the night?

I thought it was because I actually took a bath and smelled good.
