Hands down the best fried fish sandwich that I've found is at a little place called "Biscuit & Chicken" in Lusby .... really, really good and huge

Grille #13 in Waldorf has excelent Fish and Chips. They are an Irish Restaurant that is located on St. Patrick's Drive.

I drive by there everyday and I keep meaning to stop in and try the food but have not yet. Maybe I will swing in and try some fish. :buddies:

Actually, i used to really like Arthur Treacher's Fish and Chips. They had one in Deale for a while that actually was a sit in or carry out that served beer and subs. Sadly it is no longer there. Used to hit the one up that was in Waldorf and the other one up by suitland road. Actually just remembered there used to be a place up off rte. 4 in Forestville called Long John Silvers, that place wasn't bad either for fried fish.

Lex Park has a combo Long John Silvers and A&W Rootbeer place on Great Mills Road - across from shopping center where Ollies is.

Captain Billys. Popes Creek. Seafood Platter " delicious"

Really? Recently? I haven't been there in almost a decade but willing to try it again if they've turned around.

Sticking with Waldorf area, Leftys in Pinefield before it burnt down (opening again in a few months) or Texas Ribs in Smallwood Village get my vote.

For fish and chips, I go to Red Robin.

I grew up in Wisconsin, where just about every restaurant and tavern serves a fish fry every Friday night, and RR probably come closest to the beer battered fish I grew up with. (without the packs of sugar and Jennifer)

Had their fish once. Had gastric disturbance for a week. Never went back.
