Vicious wasn't a frontman...
he played Bass. Johnny Rotten was the Pistols singer....if you want to call it that....Billy Joe.....as much as I'm not a big Green Day person, I don't really see the other 2 doing anything without him. I don't know how much his vocal ability comes in to play....but I don't think Tre and Mike (?) are making any music without him worth a damn.

Not Sid. Good Lord, Johnny and Steve Jones were that band more so than Sid. Sid could barely play and didn't write anything.

Yup... Glen Matlock was the original bassist... Matlock even c0-wrote (w/ Jones) most of, if not all the music and lyrics. So, indeed Sid was a stage prop.
