Still waiting for the mothership?

I've often been tempted to buy one. Out where I'm at, there are no street lights and very few neighbors to interfere. On some nights, it seems you can almost touch the stars.

Just go ahead and get one, you won't regret it. My wife scoffed when I told her I wanted one for Christmas. Once I set it up and let her get a good look at the moon... You can get a half decent telescope with computer star tracking for less than $300. I have a basic Meade Telescope that is just right for me the sticker on it was $150.
