“Committee staff quietly met with lawyers and agents working for Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis in mid-April 2022, just as she prepared to convene a special grand jury investigation. In the previously unreported meeting, the Jan. 6 committee aides let the district attorney’s team review — but not keep — a limited set of evidence they had gathered.” Politico reported.

“Over the next few months, committee staff also had a series of phone calls with Willis’ team. They answered the prosecutors’ questions and shared insight on matters like Trump’s false electors gambit and his efforts to pressure Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. Both of those ploys ultimately featured prominently in the criminal charges that Willis brought against Trump and his allies last summer.” Politico reported.

In December, House Judiciary Committee Republicans launched an investigation into Fani Willis colluding with the January 6 Committee.

Wife Of Fulton County Trump Prosecutor Alleges He Took Money From Her Account, Left Her In ‘Dire Need’

Fulton County Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade allegedly did not disclose payments he received from working on the racketeering case against former President Donald Trump to his wife, leaving her without financial support throughout their divorce proceedings, according to a court document obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Wade, who was appointed to work on Trump’s case by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, is allegedly romantically involved with her and used the compensation he received from his position to take her on cruises and vacations, according to a motion filed Monday by a Trump co-defendant. In separate filings for his divorce case obtained by the DCNF, Wade’s wife alleges he did not disclose to her over $700,000 in earnings from the county.
Wade’s wife alleges he has continued to draw from her bank account, leaving it “routinely overdrawn” despite “the clear inequity in financial circumstances.” His wife has been a stay-at-home mom for 20 years and relied on Wade for support during the course of their marriage, according to the filing.

An adulteress going to a black Church and claiming racism.
I would think that church and especially the ladies at that church would not be so receptive to that message.
But with knee grows, black seems to be the trump card to accept anything from crime in the streets, to the murders of other blacks ,to drug dealers like George Floyd. Just say that whitey is out to get me and all sins are forgiven.

Fani Willis Is in Full Panic Mode

As RedState reported, Fani Willis finally responded to the allegations that she hired the man she was having an affair with to be a special counsel in her office. For some reason, she decided to give her remarks in front of a black church congregation. In doing so, she interspersed claims of racial persecution with a total disregard for her moral and professional failures.

In other words, she's in full panic mode.

WILLIS: God, why don't they look at themselves and just be honest? I mean, they can't keep it a hundred with themselves? Why are they surprised that a diverse team I assembled, your child, can accomplish extraordinary things? God, wasn't it them who attacked this lawyer of impeccable credentials?

Nothing makes me cringe more than when a politician who has obviously engaged in immoral acts starts using God as a prop to defend their behavior. That is exactly what Willis is doing. Instead of taking responsibility for the fact that she allegedly had an affair and then hired her "lover" to be a special counsel in a completely improper and unethical fashion, she's citing God and playing the victim.

It'd be different if Willis was apologetic, or in a religious context, repentant. She hasn't shown an ounce of contrition, though. Instead, she's doing what Democrat politicians who aren't white always do: Claim racism.

Willis pointed out during her speech that the other two prosecutors assigned to the case, Anna Green Cross and John Floyd, both are white, and noted that allegations have only emerged targeting the two prominent black members of the prosecution — her and Wade.
“Isn’t it them playing the race card when they constantly think I need someone from some other jurisdiction in some other state to tell me how to do a job I’ve been doing almost 30 years?” she asked.

Green Cross and John Floyd, the other special counsels, are indeed white. They also didn't have an affair with Willis, which is the entire crux of the matter. So while the audience she was speaking to nodded along, I don't think any fair-minded person would agree with her framing.

🔥 Oh, yes she did. Late yesterday, the Washington Post ran a (paywalled) story headlined, “Fani Willis, Trump Georgia case prosecutor, ends silence on misconduct accusations. The sub-headline explained, “She doesn’t directly address the most salacious allegations but suggests racism is at the heart of claims against her.” Of course she did.

image.png

Embattled Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis earnestly addressed the congregation at Atlanta’s Big Bethel AME Church as its Martin Luther King weekend keynote speaker. DA Willis either gave a sermon, delivered a speech, or possibly made an act of contrition; it wasn’t clear. The DA at times seemed humble and contrite, at times emotional and angry, frequently invoking invidious racism, sexism (Fani is Fulton’s first female DA) and unfair discrimination, begging congregants to forgive her for being an “imperfect black woman” who needs to be “allowed to stumble,” and finally comparing the media criticism of herself to the FBI’s persecution of Martin Luther King, Junior.

To paraphrase failed 1988 vice-presidential candidate Lloyd Bentsen, Ms. Willis, you are no Martin Luther King, Junior.

Anyway. Possibly anticipating skepticism over her racism claim, since plenty of white politicians have also gotten into trouble for failing to keep it in their pants, DA Willis defiantly but slightly incoherently insisted that “isn’t it them playing the race card when they think I need someone in some other jurisdiction in some other state to tell me how to do a job I’ve been doing almost 30 years?”

Despite supervising a vast multi-million-dollar budget, employing male sexual attendants, enjoying taxpayer-funded luxury vacations, and overseeing the most historic criminal prosecution in history against a white President, Ms. Willis believes she is the latest victim of this country’s deplorable systemic racism. But that’s not all. She is also the victim of too high expectations.

"You cannot expect black women to be perfect and save the world," Willis explained.

DA Willis’s perfect world began to crumble last week when she was “outed” for bad behavior by one of many co-defendants she indicted along with President Trump under squishy Georgia election crimes. She’s probably wishing now she hadn’t included that particular defendant; maybe DA Willis shouldn’t have been so greedy for defendants.

According to carefully-documented allegations in the co-defendant’s motion to disqualify DA Willis — allegations Willis still has not denied — the Soros-funded District Attorney hired and paid a small fortune to an inexperienced lawyer she was sleeping and vacationing with on the side. And then she assigned him to a central role in the Trump case.

image 2.png

And then — according to his own poorly-kept fee records — in the runup to Trump’s indictment, lawyer qua gigolo Nathan Wade met at least twice with White House lawyers — for a full day each time. Apart from working under Ms. Willis on the Trump case, Nathan has nothing going on that the White House might be interested in, never mind interested enough to spend sixteen hours talking to him.

Unless Nathan defrauded Fulton County, since he was hired to work on the Trump case, his invoiced sixteen hours of meetings with White House counsel had to be related to the Trump case. It’s a smoking gun proving White House involvement in the case.

On Friday, Governor Brian Kemp, a key witness in DA Willis’s case against Trump, called the new claims against Willis “deeply troubling.” Kemp also told reporters that “Evidence should be presented quickly in order for Judge McAfee to rule and the public to have confidence in this trial moving forward.”

DA Willis’s high opinion of herself is difficult to over-estimate. Suggesting that the Creator of the Universe personally arranged her appearance at Big Bethel AME, DA Willis explained “Today, what He has brought you is his very flawed, hardheaded and imperfect servant.”

Nathan Wade’s fee records are awful. They’re so bad that in a non-political case he could get disbarred for them. For just one example, Nathan mostly billed Fulton County in even hour increments, like 1.00, 2.00, or 4.00 hours. Florida’s Supreme Court says that kind of billing violates minimum ethical requirements and has sanctioned lawyers for doing it. And those are in cases without public money involvement.

One gets the impression Nathan has never done that kind of billing before.

The more salacious allegations, such as that DA Willis overpaid her lover, or benefited from those payments by going on luxury cruises and trips with him, are bad enough. But massively more meaningful are Nathan’s documented connections to the White House before the indictments.

Only slightly reading between the lines, it looks like the White House lawyers went to great lengths to meet with Nathan outside the White House so the visits wouldn’t show up on visitor logs. But then — to get paid for sixteen billable hours — Nathan made sure to invoice Fulton County for his time and dropped names.

This story has more legs than one of Wonderland’s talking centipedes. At this point, it’s impossible to say how it could affect the Trump case, or even cases. The media coverage suggests democrats will throw DA Willis under the bus, because her horrible judgment is a profound political liability. What will she screw up next? What other overpaid skeletons could come tumbling out of Fani’s closet?

Emails have leaked showing a tense exchange between Fani Wilis and Donald Trump's defense. Trump is facing RICO charges brought by Willis in Georgia, a move that has left some legal scholars scratching their heads.

The back and forth began after Steven Sadow, who is Trump's lead lawyer on the case, sent an email saying that he doesn't understand why the prosecutorial team won't respond to his requests. One of Willis' underlings then shot back by playing the race card.

The recent tense exchange unfolded in a group email thread that includes prosecutors and defense lawyers in the case. It began when the lead lawyer for Mr. Trump in Georgia, Steven H. Sadow, expressed annoyance with prosecutors for ignoring a request he had made. On Jan. 5, he wrote to prosecutors: “For the life of me, I cannot understand why you refuse to respond to the series of emails below.”
Five days later, Daysha Young, an executive district attorney who, like Ms. Willis, is Black, wrote that she and Ms. Willis “are both aware, especially as an African American woman some find it difficult to treat us respectfully.”

What does skin color have to do with the fact that Willis and her team are ignoring emails being sent by the defense? Where in Sadow's message is there even the slightest hint that he's concerned with what color their skin is? Rather, he seems justified in wondering why they aren't professional enough to respond to requests in a timely fashion.

Willis then jumped into the fray, shooting off an email that also played the race card.

“In the legal community (and the world at large) some people will never be able to respect African Americans and/or women as their equal and counterpart,” she wrote in a note addressed to Mr. Sadow but sent to all of the defense lawyers, most of whom are white men. “That is a burden you do not experience. Further, some are so used to doing it they are not even aware they are doing it while others are intentional in their continued disrespect.”

Willis wears her race like a shield. She truly believes that simply being black protects her from all criticism and allows her to skirt basic legal boundaries. Remember, this is a person who had an affair and then paid her lover to be a special counsel in her office, a massive breach of ethical standards. When people pointed that out, Willis' response was, shock of shocks, to cry racism in that case as well.

She's also got a Napoleon complex.

Ms. Willis also made a case for her own fortitude. “Now you know, I cannot be bullied,” she wrote. “So I do not even think anyone on this team thought someone was silly enough to try that as a tactic. As you are aware, I have now experienced some of the most powerful people in the country call me everything, but a child of God. But, yet here I and my team stand still pursuing justice.”

Once again, we see Willis mocking God by pretending her transgressions don't exist. She recently did that while speaking to a church, claiming that all the criticisms of her affair were due to racism. Not once has she taken responsibility for her actions.

Georgia DA Fani Willis Given Deadline to Respond to Allegations as Judge Orders Hearing

The allegations were made by defendant Michael Roman, a strategist who participated in the 2020 Trump campaign. Mr. Roman cited only anonymous sources, without submitting evidence, but later told reporters he had witnesses ready to testify against Ms. Willis.

In a 100-plus page filing, Mr. Roman argued that the behavior alleged was grounds for dismissal of the charges against President Trump and dismissal of the district attorney and her team.

Nathan Wade, an attorney with a private law firm, was hired by Ms. Willis and has argued at nearly every hearing in the case since its inception. After Mr. Roman’s motion last week, Mr. Wade became the subject of a congressional investigation and news headlines, with multiple media outlets seeking the sealed records of his ongoing divorce.

Mr. Roman alleged that Mr. Wade had been paid about $650,000 with public funds intended for use to clear COVID-era backlogs and had received other funds that were used to pay for “lavish” vacations with Ms. Willis.

Fulton DA accuses special prosecutor’s wife of ‘interfering’ with Trump probe

Fulton County’s district attorney on Thursday fired back at allegations she has engaged in an “improper” relationship with her top deputy, accusing his estranged wife of trying to obstruct her prosecution of Donald Trump and his allies.

Fani Willis has been subpoenaed to give a pretrial deposition in the divorce case of Nathan and Joycelyn Wade on January 23, but in a blistering court filing on Thursday the DA’s attorney said that subpoena should be quashed.

Joycelyn Wade “has conspired with interested parties in the criminal election interference case to use the civil discovery process to annoy, embarrass and oppress District Attorney Willis,” argued Cinque Axam on Willis’ behalf.

🤣

Annoy, Embarrass and Oppress ... that is some fine legal reasoning .... Help Me, Help Me, Help Me I am being Oppressed when you question myu corrupt personal actions ....

[clip]

Merchant said Thursday that “Ms. Willis alleges that her deposition is being sought in an attempt to harass and damage her reputation. Why would her truthful testimony risk damaging her reputation?”

Merchant added, “We believe her filing in Cobb County is just another attempt to avoid having to directly answer the important questions Mr. Roman has raised. She appears to be doing everything she can to avoid having to account for inconvenient and difficult facts.”

“If, however, media reports are any indication, (Joycelyn Wade) may intend to ask questions regarding the nature of any relationship with (Nathan Wade),” the motion said. “Because the parties agree that the marriage is irretrievably broken and the concept of fault is not at issue, there is no information that District Attorney Willis could provide that might prove relevant to granting or denying the divorce.”

The filing also argued that Willis was improperly served her subpoena through a staff member.

Amazing that this stupid Bint didn't think once she went after Trump and his associates with these charges, Lawyers, Reporters. random internet trolls like 4 Chan would not be combing through every bit of her life looking for corruption, she had better be as clean as fresh snow

Nothing makes me cringe more than when a politician who has obviously engaged in immoral acts starts using God as a prop to defend their behavior.
Noticed that. Reminds me of the times back in the cult when we'd have a mandatory late night prayer session where we were expected to confess our sins in prayer to God - and other prayers would be criticizing others, but with "God" filtered in it. Or a sermon on Sunday, where stuff like this - questions to "God" - were littered with condemnation on members of the church.

That's not prayer. Imagine listening to someone purporting to be talking to YOU on the phone, while all the while ranting about something else and OCCASIONALLY inserting your name, just so they acknowledge your presence? I've had - "conversations" - like this, while the other person just talked and ignored me.

I went off and made a sandwich and watched TV - until they started noticing no one was listening.

I don't think God listens to this crap either. It's insulting him.

Sounds like phone conversations my wife has had with her "friends." Once they are done venting about someone/something, oh they have to run or somebody's at the door.
