Functional replica firearms

If that thread title even makes sense. I'm trying to figure out how to word what I'm saying. I'm looking for a place or website where I could purchase actual firing replicas of antique firearms, like an 18th century flintlock pistol. Am I making sense?

So far all I have been able to find are non-firing guns.

I am aware of their kits...not carefully finished. Perhaps they expect all buyers to be well-tooled gunsmiths but this has led to shabby put-togethers which prove unreliable.
If its flint: make sure the frizzen is well hardened-if not: you will get little if no spark. Also: a stiff mainspring is better than a soft one.

Thanks guys, I wouldn't mind a kit, but I'm not gunsmith that's for sure. My Dad put one together back when I was a kid, but his was a precussion cap black powder revolver.
