I had the parents get me the triple thickness underwear at Walmart. They are white, but in the crotch area, they are really thick.
I believe they come 3 in a pack for 5.00.
They are in the baby section.

They are awesome and don't cost $180. :yay:

Because she is just grasping the fact of potty trainning, and it wont hold what she lets out yet. I am more than willing to do the big girl underware once she gets a better understanding of what is going on.
How old is she? Honestly, I think these things are more for the parents' convenience and don't "train" the kids. Getting wet or messy IS a deterrent and she'll learn to stay dry. So, you change her clothes if she has an accident -- nasty but not the end of the world.

This is a good idea. Little one is now 17 months and I was going to start potty training next month. I may give this a try myself. Thanks for the idea!

Wow, is she already showing interest?

My youngest (son) was 16 months and using the potty at his sitter's. There were two other children just a bit older. When he would get home, he would tell me to put the diaper on him. Uh...no...he was housebroken before he was two. The oldest son was almost 3..and he would take off his diaper and crap behind a chair and then come tell me.

Hey WC, check out eBay. No matter where you get them, they will be expensive. However, you might be able to find a "deal" of some sort on eBay.

My cousin uses them exclusively on her baby girl and totally loves them. I've never tried them, so have no opinion other than they are expensive as hell.

Maybe she can find some slightly used ones on special.

Frack thought it was fun to do wall murals with it in the bathroom. Remember that movie clip...was it Eddie Murphy (?) who looks in the bathroom and his eyes follow from floor to ceiling...that was Frack. :barf:

Thing 1 will be 3 next week. He's been wearing regular underwear for the past few weeks. He has good days and he has bad days. This week, they've all been bad days. He has yet to pee pee in the potty all week. However, when he does poop, he runs to the bathroom, takes off his underwear, dumps the turd in the pot, and flushes.
P.S. Our Wal*Fart does not carry training underwear. I may make a trip to Babies R Us this weekend. Either that or put newspaper down. I refuse to buy those damn PullUps.

Girlie hasn't shown any interest. I'm not really looking forward to potty training...diapers are pretty easy. Oh, but she loves to poop in the tub. :ohwell:

:lmao: Frack was just reminiscing the other night about the days long ago when he'd "squirt" in the tub!

Ok. So she backpeddled a little- and we got off of potty trainning for a bit.. now we are back. So- I ask.. what are some good things that you did with your kids that worked with the potty trainning?

I have her trying to go every 20/30 minutes. She will also tell us when she has to go. So that is a plus. Otherwise, I dont know what else to do that might help?

Ideas/Advice appreciated.
