Garage door openers and Lowes

Did you get everything worked out!

If you don't mind me asking how much was the opener and how much do they charge to install? Chad only charges $375-$395 for opener and installation.
It's all good now. The opener was $188 for that model. Screw drive, and a coded opener for mounting outside the door. Installation took about 5-6 hours. That included removing the old one and returning the first one. I don't know what they would have charged. I'm happy with it, but wish it would open the door faster. I think the belt drive does.

Installed two of the same Genie opener. Only problem was mounting the unit to the ceiling with no help. Otherwise.... The batteries in the remotes only last about 7 months, but they're not expensive. In fact I bought 2 for around $8. Almost cheaper than flashlight batteries. Took me about 6 hours to put the first one in. I was an expert after that ordeal. Second one went in half the time.

I paid about the same a couple of years ago at Lowes and that is the fastest opening door I've ever had! It's called the Genie Excellerator.

Yeah, I could have used an extra set of hands for that one.
