Obviously you don't know sarcasm when you see it.

I've been to Lexington Park plenty of times, and I go to Southern Maryland Motorsports Park at least once a month.

I'm pointing out that people on here rag on Waldorf all the time and realistically have no effing clue what they're talking about. I hate Waldorf, but it ain't because of crime levels or anything. I just wish it had a little more nightlife to it.

That said, it's not Bum#### Nowhere (Calvert County) and it's not Baltimore/D.C. (as far as crime rates and population). Very nice median if you want a city experience without the negatives a Baltimore or an NYC would bring. :yay:

Perhaps it's you people who need to spend a little more time in Waldorf before typing your worthless drivel. :duh:

I've spent plenty of time in Waldorf, lived there for 11 years. So I've "done my time"

Lived here for 8 years. Someone shot my brother (after school one day) and got arrested. He retaliated by shooting the windows (that didn't even do any damage) with a bebe gun. Damn stupid move because he was caught in the act and hauled off for violaing probation. :roflmao:

Other than that, nothing's ever happened and I live by the worst part of Waldorf.

Andy,

You brought Waldorf into this. Nobody else did.

If you don't want worthless drivel about Waldorf, stop posting it.
I'm pointing out that everyone who says Waldorf is "the ghetto" doesn't know what they're talking about.

There are gonna be bad people everywhere you go. No town is perfect. :duh:

Acton Lane. Bannister runs a close second.

That said, it's been more than a week since I've heard police sirens. What's happening to this place? :jameo::jameo::jameo:

I could name a whole lot worse, but I'm not going to get into it. But you are right, each place has its own problems. Some are isolated incidents, while some are a daily occurance. But hey, what are you gonna do about it? Only thing is to move, but it could happen anywhere.

Population would be a key factor too.

Crime rates are usually based on 100,000 so say you are in a town with 200 people in it, you have ONE robbery, you have a HIGH stat.

Dameron has the same total crime risk as Waldorf, but Dameron only has a population of 100.. so to equal their crime risk we'd need one murder/ robbery every 20 years or so.

Waldorf is at .77 total national crime risk, Dameron is at .75. I think I'll keep my butt in the high crime district that is Dameron.
