I had one as a pet too. I used to go out and squish bugs for it and hand feed it the bug on a toothpick :nerd:

They are called "five-lined skink". The other skink that I've seen are called "broadhead skink".

I found a broadhead skink in my parents yard about a month ago. It looked like the lawnmower got him though - he was :dead:.

I've read that their heads turn that red color at mating time. It's supposed to attract the females.
