I'll be heading out with gas cans this week to bring home a load of non-E gas for the boats. Be interesting to see where that is, pricewise.
The only station I know of here with non-E is the Shell in Dunkirk (admittedly I haven't looked too hard). Gas there is $3.19 and the non-E is usually about a dollar more.

Non-E hasn't been fluctuating much. Last time I looked, it was the same price as a month or two ago. I'll take a look today when I go out.

We've got multiple locations selling Non-E in the Lex Park-California area. Sheetz, WaWa and Royal Farms, to name three. $3.79 is the best I've found today. BTW..they are selling the Non-E as 90 or 91 octane, a nice "bonus" to go along with the lack of ethanol.

I think Harris Teeter does also.

Have you thought about buying a storage tank and getting it delivered?
A stunningly expensive proposition when your property is in the critical area... Back when I replaced the diesel and gas pumps at Swann's (when I owned it back in the 90s), that was reportedly one of the last in-ground marina installs that was ever allowed. Now, the tanks have to be above aground and sitting inside a concrete caisson that can hold twice the capacity of the tank...if a major leak occurred. I'm sure the requirements have gotten worse since I last looked at them.

Yup. So bad that when a bit of a leak was found near the pump dock at Calvert Marina, last year, the State wouldn't allow the owner to make the repair. Instead they demanded, what would have been millions, to tear out and retrofit the entire fuel delivery system as if building/installing from new. Now? There is one less marine fueling dock in the Solomon's area. Said it wasn't worth it.

Bingo. As a marina owner you make zero or negative money on every gallon you pump. The only reason to keep subsidizing the continued operation of your pumps is if your marina is a "destination" and you want to entice cruisers to stop there and stay over and/or eat at your restaurant, spend big at your bar, etc. There was a period of years where I turned "custody" of my diesel pump and tank over to my group of charter boat captains (5 boats back then..Bob Hope went out on one every year, but I digress) and they paid to put the fuel in that tank and they owned it. Worked out better for all concerned.
