Gas Prices

$4.25 at Lusby Giant yesterday. Fortunately I had $.30 a gallon off since I have been buying their expensive groceries. Still $3.95 a gallon :faint:

30 days is a joke anyway. Originally the call from Franchot was a 3 month suspension of the tax which sounds good until you look a little deeper. 3 months would be April-June with the tax resuming on July 1, just in time for the MD law mandated gas tax increase.

$4.05 at Edwards in Dahlgren this morning, and I could have sworn the Sheetz on the corner of Rt 3/301 was $3.75.

Mostly $4.05 to $4.15 in VA, sub-$4 in Tennessee.

Prices ranged widely on my travels. The past few days, prices dropped a couple of cents each day in Bentonville, AR, I paid $3.41 on Friday. Almost as soon as I got outside NorthWest Arkansas, prices jumped to $4.09, then ranged from $3.79 to $4.10. Surprisingly, prices here in Lex Park/California were lower than most of Tennessee and Virginia, which is not the norm that I've seen in past trips.

I would suggest going to your local hardware store by April 16th and buying some Stabil and gas cans and then fill with enough gas to get you thru grass cutting/hurricane season this year....
I'll add to this. If you buy regular pump gas with ethanol, make sure you have the caps on the cans tight. It would suck to lose your stash to phase separation if/when the binder evaporates and the fuel separates from the moonshine.
