Gas is so inexpensive right now - this is really a fight you want to have? Go to giant and get a Giant card, use it when you buy groceries and then go to the Burchmart and redeem your gas rewards and you won't think twice about 3 cents.

It's not the three cents, I think most of the folks here in this thread wont miss that. It's the idea that they politicians raid a fund set aside for a specific purpose, then raise the gas tax to refill that fund. Cowardly azzhats who cant stand up and say, "You know what, the taxes we have wont pay the bills for the next few years, so we'll put in a time limited increase that needs to be revisited in say three years.". Instead we get BS shenanigans like this crap. Yet another of the eleventy billion reasons why politics and career should never be said in the sane sentence.
