I wonder if this loss will affect Tebow's bid for a 2nd Heisman?
Baja...Archie Griffin is the only player to win the Heisman twice; in 1974 and 1975.
Tebow should have won it last year
But he wasn't gonna win it this year unless he had an epic performance. Actually, if the Gators had come back from the 32-13 deficit or whatever, he would have won the Heisman. He wouldn't have deserved it even with an epic performance, but I know he would have won it.
Speaking of people who didn't deserve to win it -- Archie Griffin in '75
No. He wasn't going to win it before the game. He ain't going to win it after the game.
Ingram, on the other hand, I think wins Alabama's first ever because of the game.
Ingram will have a great shot at getting it because of the stat line, but McElroy was the reason the Tide kicked ass, not Ingram. Heck, Ingram's backup did better running the ball than Ingram did. McCoy blew it, Tebow blew it, Spiller probably won't get it (but may get an invite to NYC because of his game), so it's probably down to Gerhart and Ingram.
