It was so nice yesterday evening I couldn't not take the camera out. When I got home from work the sun was out with some clouds still around. It was just about golden hour when I walked out of the house to head to the little pond. The clouds had rolled in and covered the entire sky. At that point I figured, oh well I wasn't going to see much anyway. I walked the path through the wood and came out to the pond and I see this big guy. When I started working my way around the pond to try to get closer, he flies almost right to me. Had to turn the ISO up a little and fought with the shutter speed, but I like the result. I hope others enjoy too.
1. Since the sun was not shinning right down on the GBH, the white of his head didn't get over exposed like it would in the middle of the day.
