So it's okay to punch someone, the mother/father of your child...while the child is there no less, if he/she starts crap? Ummmm WRONG

I do not think it's wrong to teach children that it's okay to defend themselves against anyone, parent or no. If the mom is such a loose cannon like that, what must the home life be like? Equip the kids with stun guns and turn them loose.

I was raised, 'you DO NOT hit women'; whether they deserve it or not.
I once dated a girl, when I was in hight school who made me SO mad at her one time, I just had to grit my teeth and walk away.
OTOH, if a woman I happened to be in a relationship with hit me, I would at least retaliate with a firm shove.....by the throat.

So many women deserve to be knocked on their a$$, they beg for it on tip toes. Takes a better man to walk away... as my dad always said.

The original post is gone so I'm winging it. From what I've read, taking the hit like a man would be best choice. As for the loose cannon, that child needs to be with someone other than her that's for sure. What could happen to the child with that level of anger management issues makes me *shiver*. IMHO

Actually, if you punch someone in the right place you can hurt them pretty bad, regardless of your size. Whether it hurt him physically or not, it's still an act of violence which shouldnt be tolerated.
