Had some take out from Chinese place up the road; just can't remember the name of it. This particular version was made with a red chili pepper glaze, which, of course, was red. AWESOME stuff! Even the side of veggie fried rice was rahthah tasty all by itself; no soy sauce, nothin'.....They have China Cafe I and II beat.
I need to find the menu with the name of the place, that is usually also included.

Too true... I remember back when my mom was told to reduce her sodium because of BP and she thought she was ordering healthy by chosing the chicken and broccoli from the Chinese menu.... Only to find that EVERYTHING on the menu was loaded with sodium... she now realizes she can NEVER eat food from a Chinese resturant ever again...:dead:

DK... keep in mind this represents 1 SERVING and the sodium is already 90% of the total daily allowance of a person NOT on a restrictive diet. Most people eat the entire entree which can easily be 3-4 servings which in this case would mean you are downing over 6,000

Oh, I know.....but this was a treat. I don't have it that often. Mostly, it's baked talapia and veggies or homemade soups
I've even half-heartedly begun to cut back a bit. Today, I've only had 12 oz. of Dew. Normally by this time, I'd be on my 36th. I've been drinking water the rest of the day and never too far from the pi**er. Sorry.....TMI

We got take-out from the Japanese Grill last week. By far, it's the BEST anywhere. Good sized portions, and just plain yummy! It's in southern Lusby, at the Giant Food Shopping Center. Reasonably priced too.

If I'm stuck ordering delivery, it's Hunan Wok. But if I actually get to go out to eat, it's Laughing Buddha in Solomons. Hands down, Laughing Buddha has the best chinese food I've ever had outside of Chinatown in DC.
