Getting a 6 year old to clean his room.....

do you know that the electrolux guardian canister will suck up a pair of panties and not break a sweat doing it?

I did not know that... But now that I do, I'm ordering one!

I can see it now, I'm sitting on the couch watching a movie with a woman. A single kernel of popcorn falls to the floor...

With a knowing look I retrieve the Electrolux Guardian. As the beautiful young woman looks on admiring the powerful chrome appliance and the skill wielded in it's use, I first persue the errant popcorn kernel. With a delicate touch and the goal firmly in mind, the kernel is teased and coerced into my keeping. Then, with a subtle yet powerful flick of the wrist...

:whoosh:

NO more Panties!!!

:roflmao:

I bought the Melissa & Doug Responsibility Chart and Calendar for my youngest, that did the trick for me. Every Sunday we go over the chores that he is expected to do for the week and at the beginning of the month we update his calendar. Since then, the book bag, shoes, toys, etc. etc. ended up where they are suppose to be. He also gets allowance if all his chores are completed for the week. His room stays cleaner than my oldest....

Where did you get that? I would love to purchase one! My kids would love doing that to get motivated to clean thier room and put the toys away.

I know they sell Melissa & Doug at the Train/hobby store in the Brenton Plaza by the Do-Dah Deli in Leonardtown.

Sounds like a good idea, I'm also looking into a shopvac as well, Thanks Chain!
