Ginger and MaryAnn

Ginger and MaryAnn are 2 spayed female kittens that are not sisters, but have been together for about a month or so, and seem to get along quite well. Watching them tumble across the floor playing is better than watching TV <g>.

These 2 girls are 15 weeks old, have tested NEG for FIV/FELV and they are up to date on shots, including their Rabies vaccination. The adoption fee is to cover the discounted vet expenses of $128 for each kitten. If both kittens go to the same home we will discount the adoption fee to $225 for the pair.

Both girls are playful, they purr easily, and both did not react well when introduced to a dog (they ran to hide). We are pretty sure they could get used to a dog as long as the dog wasn't trying to harm them.

PLEASE help us spread the word about these two sweet and fun to watch girls!

Ginger is the one that in the past, when presented with a paper plate full of canned food, would put her paw on the head of the other kitty to hold it back as if to say "I eat first, you wait", I wish I had a video of that, LOL

actually we also have a boy kitten named Gilligan and a girl kitten named Mrs. Howell - those are next two to get spayed/neutered as soon as we have enough money. We've been selling fresh eggs and donated items to get the money together.

He is a purr machine. He likes to cuddle too - sounds just like you huh?

I probably should not have named his sister Mrs. Howell - sort makes for odd relations <g>. I couldn't think of another female name other than that .....

MORE kittens are coming !!??

Our small mammal foster/placement gal is bringing us 4 kittens from a litter that was outside of an elderly relatives home .....

okay now my friends are starting to question my sanity - and I may just have to ask HS if they will cover the vet fees for them (if they will?) as we do NOT have the money, period, do not have it. We will NOT let ANY of these kittens go to a new home unless they have been spayed/neutered.

I do not know sexes yet - I got their first dose of Frontline (tiny amount) on their itchy bodies last night (scratch scratch) so I won't be scruffing them for a couple of days to check sex .... they LOOK to be about 5/6 weeks?

I do not know sexes yet - I got their first dose of Frontline (tiny amount) on their itchy bodies last night (scratch scratch) so I won't be scruffing them for a couple of days to check sex .... they LOOK to be about 5/6 weeks?

They are ALL really cute - especially the grayish/blue looking ones. They all purr when handled - a good thing. We are hoping to get these 4 vetted by mid-September when they should be closing in on 2 lbs each and will hopefully be at least 8 weeks of age by then.

I stated this wrong. These kittens came from an indoor home. The elderly relative is over-run with cats apparently. These kittens were indoors but the Mama kitty was indoor/outdoor, so the kittens had a few fleas but they are gone now. I used the flea comb to clean their fur also. They are such fun little furballs.

We need money to get all these kittens vetted. We keep buying quality cat food and adopting out kittens for less than we spend on vetting (when we offer "get 2" for a lower overall adoption fee). We try to keep the adoption fee reasonable, so we have not added micro-chipping into the mix yet. TOTW cat food is quite expensive, but the cats/kittens like it better than the Tractor Supply Paws and Claws. The rescue account drains despite getting adoption fees for most cats. It's also the add-ons like Frontline, deworming, food, litter, toys, etc. that bring the cost of this process so high.

I know there are most recent shows/themes to use, but I am middle-aged, don't watch tv much, nor do I have small kids, so I am in need of assistance. Help me name these little darlings please.
