Predicting an overall hurricane season ain't easy.
It's a lose lose for the National Hurricane Center. If they predict a lower than average hurricane season, people let their guard down and when the big one hits (if it hits), it's their fault. If they predict another bad season and end up with a whimper, their credibility is unjustly forever shot.
I will remain on the fence as to the effects of Global Warming until such time that Chuck Norris weighs in at the next UN summit.
